Celso Duazo Pepito is a Filipino painter who uses cubic simplicity in his paintings. He is known using three planar divisions as backdrops of his figurative subjects and the octagon as well. These he says represent three important message he wanted to share: love of God, love of family and love of country.

For his first solo show in America, Filipino Values: A Glimpse, Pepito will provide his viewers a glimpse of the many positive values that the Filipino can be very proud of. For this exhibit, Pepito has created paintings that reflect the value of hospitality, resiliency, patriotism and gratefulness. He tackles paintings that manifest the Filipinos’ deep religiosity, adaptability, resourcefulness and creativity.

This exhibit of Pepito’s paintings aims to inspire the Filipinos in America to be proud of their roots and be the living testaments of the positive values that we have as Filipinos.
