German firm welcome back their former 'apprentice'

After weeks of speculation Mercedes confirmed on Wednesday that Michael Schumacher will make a comeback to race for the team next season alongside fellow German Nico Rosberg.

The FIA, Formula One's governing body for racing, has recently revised the budget cap for 2010. For next year season there will be only 13 teams that will be accepted for the championship series. They have also imposed a £40 million budget cap per year in exchange for more technical freedom.

A documentary feature film about the legendary Brazilian racer Ayrton Senna will begin shooting next month, exactly 15 years after his fatal crash. The film will explore the life and work of the triple world champion, his physical and spiritual achievements on the track, his quest for perfection and the mythical status he has since attained.
