NEW YORK – Thursday, November 26, came with the news that Filipino Americans welcomed and can be thankful for while celebrating Thanksgiving Day.

MANILA – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has repatriated 265,111 Filipinos affected by the pandemic since February 2020. Of the total, 83,866 are seafarers (31.63%), while 181,245 (68.37%) are land-based overseas Filipinos.

MANILA – Senator Christopher “Bong” Go filed Senate Bill No.1835 on Sept. 16, 2020 for the creation of a single department that will handle concerns of overseas Filipinos. It is the second iteration of SBN 202 he filed last year.
