MANILA – Actress Gretchen Barretto says she is ready to start working on ABS-CBN’s upcoming television series ‘Alta’, which is scheduled for taping Oct. 19. The series also stars Sam Milby, KC Concepcion, Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo.
“I’m getting ready, time to get fit. I’ve been doing workshops,” she was quoted as saying in an interview during Bea Alonzo’s birthday party. Alonzo was with Barreto in another television series, Magkaribal, which was considered a success.
When asked if she would do another series with Alonzo, Barretto said that although a movie was offered to them she doubted whether doing a movie and a teleserye at the same time would be possible.
But Barretto did not close the door on pairing with Alonzo again.
“I’m really looking forward to spending more time with her. I will always be her ate and I will always love her and support whatever path she takes,” she said.
