I need to examine myself constantly: my goals, priorities, motivations of my heart, spending, and my desire to see if I am really ALL IN for Jesus!
Psalms 49:16-17 states: “But may all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; may those who love your salvation say continually, “Great is the Lord!” As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me. You are my help and my deliverer; do not delay, O my God!”
Here are some questions to help me to examine if I am really All In for Jesus.
- Am I SEEKING THE LORD? Am I growing in my relationship with Jesus? Do I seek His will for my life? Do I spend time just being with Jesus? Matthew 6:33; “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these other things shall be added unto you.”
- Am I rejoicing and glad in Jesus? Or am I just going through the motions of rituals? Am I praising and a worshipper of Jesus? “Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice.” How are you doing?
- Am I still loving Jesus and that He forgave me of all my sins and saved me? Is Jesus still all that thrills my soul?
- Do I still realize that I need Jesus in my life? Do I still live humbly, realizing I am poor and needy? “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble!”
- Do I depend on the Lord for everything in my life? The Lord is my help and my deliverer! “He is my refuge and strength, a very present help in the time of need.”
Am I really All In for Jesus today?
