Jesus reveals what it means to be a follower of Jesus. In John 8:12, Jesus said, “I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the Light of life.”
Jesus is the Light of the World. The world may not appreciate the Light. Light reveals the way to go. Some people want nothing to do with the Light! But Light is what helps us see and go in the right direction! Jesus is the Light of the World!
If you are a follower of Jesus, you will not walk in darkness. Are we walking in the Light of Jesus, or are we walking in the darkness of sin and the world? You cannot walk both ways. So we need to choose between Light and darkness!
As a follower of Jesus, we have the Light of Jesus living in us. We have Jesus! So if we have Jesus living in us, then we will have His Light and life in us!
