God’s plans do not always make sense to our human understanding. We see things from a human perspective, but God’s perspective is heavenly. This is when we need to choose to walk by faith or to walk by fear.
King David was under attack by enemies who wanted to destroy his life by killing him. He knew that he was the anointed king, but then all of these enemies came against him, even those closest to him.
But David declares by faith these words: “God’s Way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to Him for protection. For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? God arms me with strength, and He makes my way perfect.”
That is understanding who our God is! Our God is worthy of our trust and obedience. Proverbs 3: 5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct Your paths.”
What a powerful truth that if we trust, lean, and obey the Lord by acknowledging Him, He will direct our paths!
Lord, help me to trust You because Your way is always perfect! Help me live with a heavenly perspective on every situation in my life!
Arm me with Your strength for today!
