On this Resurrection Sunday, Jesus rose again! This is a game changer because He died and rose again so that we could experience eternal life. Because He lives, I can face life knowing that I am a child of the living God! Resurrection Sunday reminds me of the victory that Jesus has given me over sin, Satan, and self!

The Resurrection impacts every season of our lives. 1 John 2:14 says, “I have written to you who are God’s children because you know the Father. I have written to you who are mature in the faith because you know Christ, who existed from the beginning. I have written to you who are young in faith because you are strong. God’s Word lives in your hearts, and you have won your battle of the evil one.”

  • If you have accepted Christ and confess Him as your Lord and Savior, you are a CHILD of God! Think about that relationship that God is your Father! What a privilege it would be if God were my Father if I were His child.
  • If you have been serving the Lord for many years, you know Jesus personally and know that the longer I serve Him, the sweeter He becomes. Lord, help me never lose my passion, desire, and intimacy with You. Help me finish my journey here on earth, knowing that “He that started good work in me will bring it to the day of completion.”
  • If you are new to this journey of following Jesus, He has made you strong because He lives in you today! This is the Good News of the Resurrection. I was dead, but now I am alive in Christ! I was an enemy of God, but now I am a friend of God. I was empty, but now I am filled with His Spirit.

Because He lives, I can face whatever my tomorrow may bring my way! Because Hope is Alive, Jesus is alive today!
