In an overwhelming world, I am glad we serve a great God! I love worship songs that focus on God’s greatness. Listening to and singing songs like “Great is Your Faithfulness” and “How Great is Our God” renews our faith in God!
God’s Word reminds us of the greatness of God. Psalm 145:1-3 reminds us:
“I will extol You, my God and King, and bless Your name forever and ever. Every day, I will bless You and praise Your Name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and His greatness is unsearchable.”
When we are experiencing difficult situations, we need to refocus on the problem and remind ourselves of God’s greatness!
Remind yourself that God is greater….
- Than all my sins!
- Than my sickness!
- Than my sadness!
- Than my suffering!
- Than all my sorrows!
- Than my financial situation!
- Than my family
- Than my struggles!
Begin to extol the Lord and remind yourself today! “How great is our God!”
