Here is some good marriage advice and relationship advice. Amos 3:3 “Can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction?”
What direction do we want to go in life? If you are dating or married, are you and your partner walking in the same direction? Do you have the same goals, the same vision, the same desires for life?
How many times do we think we are just dating, and when we get married, I will change them? How many believe that you are going to change someone else? That is why God’s Word tells us, “Do not be unequally yoked together, connected with an unbeliever, or someone that is walking in a different direction than you are going.
Life is easier when you are walking in the same direction as the person. Life is more complex, with more issues, when you are walking in different directions! The best time to realize this is before you even become involved with the person!
Today, I need to be aware of the direction people are heading. We are not going to be walking with everyone who comes into our lives. But help me to recognize people who are walking in the same direction as my life.
You may be in a relationship, marriage, or business where people are walking in different directions. You will need to pray that God will give you the wisdom on how to handle this and to pray for God to change you or the other person so that you can walk in the same direction!
