The Philippine Permanent Mission to the United Nations invites the FilAm Community to participate in a panel discussion on Safe Haven: Jewish Refugees in the Philippines scheduled on 27 January 2020 (Monday), 3:00 pm – 4:15 pm at Conference Room 4 (TBC), UNHQ, in observance of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day.  The program will feature a 15-minute documentary on President ML Quezon’s “Open Door Policy” in the late 1930s.

The event is sponsored by the Philippine Permanent Mission and B’nai Brith International in partnership with the US-PH Society.  The event requires UN grounds passes.  For those without a UN Pass, please send your name and affiliation to rsvpUN@bnaibrith.org and cc: newyorkpcg.cultural@dfa.gov.ph by January 18, 2020.
