With the successful establishment of its New York branch, the company said it is dedicated to presenting the world with the magic of the Philippines.
But Fabulous Philippines 2 is not just a showcase; it’s also a celebration of the 125th Philippine Independence Day. The event’s cast will join the grand parade in partnership with the Philippine Independence Day Council, led by PIDCI President Nora Galleros and Grand Marshal Dr. Dely P. Go.
On June 3, 2023, at 7:30 P.M., the Gold Room of Astoria World Manor in Queens, New York, will come alive with the splendor of Fabulous Philippines 2. It will feature the awe-inspiring collection Exuberant Fibers by Cherry Veric, a renowned fashion designer who has dressed stars, beauty queens, and socialites. Veric’s unique creations embody the fusion of the north and south, reinventing the traditional Filipino attire known as the baro’t saya. Through his ingenious combination of Aklan’s pinya and Abra’s Inabel, Veric pays homage to Philippine diversity with each exquisite piece.
Adding more excitement and glamour to the evening, Neocolors CEO Dr. Christine May Daguno-Canoy, along with Neocolors New York COO Gina Reyes-Heil, will be accompanied by the presence of Miss World 2013 Megan Young, Miss Universe 2010 Fourth Runner-up Venus Raj, and the versatile actor/performer Xian Lim.
