NEW YORK – The White House Office of Public Engagement and the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders will host a virtual Filipino American History Month event on Thursday, Oct. 28 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET (1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m PT).
The virtual event will be open to the public and will feature a panel with Air Force Undersecretary Gina Ortiz Jones and Erika Moritsugu, a panel with Filipino American Biden-Harris appointees, a panel with representatives from community organizations, and the National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA) National Chair Brendan Flores as one of the speakers.
