Filipino Killed In Italy; Five Others In Serious Condition

ROME, ITALY—A young Filipino was killed and five other compatriot youngsters were injured at a car accident in Circonvallazione Clodia in Rome according to Ako ay Pilipino newspaper based in Italy.  Information about the victims, who were allegedly under the influence of alcohol, were not made available.

The accident happened during the wee hours of August 10 when a Ford vehicle they were in, crashed into two trees before colliding into a parked van.

The victims were rushed to several leading hospitals of Rome such as San Filippo, Santo Spirito, San Carlo, San Camillo and Gemelli. The five who survived are currently in critical condition.
