NEW YORK – Gary Valenciano, 11-time winner of the prestigious and much coveted Philippine entertainment industry Awit Award for “Best Male Performer, will be performing in a limited engagement live concert on Saturday, September 20, 2014, 7 p.m. at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the AARP has announced. The concert is in celebration of Valenciano’s 30th Anniversary as a world entertainer.
According to AARP, this one night only concert is an extra special event as Gary V celebrates his recent 50th birthday – making him one of the last baby boomers of his generation.
Known to his fans worldwide as “Mr. Pure Energy,” Gary V, has in the last three decades released 26 albums of songs that were received and considered by the public and his fans as most popular in their time, with some extending their popularity to the present day.
His albums include such favorite and familiar melodies as Di Bale Na Lang (Never Mind), Eto Na Naman (Here We Go Again), Sana Maulit Muli (I Wish It Could Happen Again), Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos? (Is God Sleeping?), Gaya Ng Dati (Just Like Before), Pasko Na, Sinta Ko (It’s Christmas, My Love) and Narito (Here).
The Gary V Concert will have as special guests Gary’s son Gabriel Valenciano and AKA Jam. Musical Director is Ramon Faustino and the Executive Producers are Johnny Rustia and Alaina Serrano.
At present, besides presenting sponsor AARP, other sponsors of the concert are GOLDMED and MATRCHFUND.NET. AARP has also partnered for the live concert with Filipino-American community organizations such as the Philippine Independence Day Council, Inc.
