God loves Me! God gave me His Son, who died on the Cross for me!

John 3: 1-20 is the encounter between Jesus and Nicodemus. Nicodemus was a Jewish religious leader and a Pharisee. He sees all the miracles that Jesus is doing, but has not become a follower of Jesus.

We see Jesus connecting with this religious man who was not a follower of Jesus. Jesus shows us how to connect with people who are not yet followers of Jesus! God wants to use us to be part of the miracle of salvation in people’s lives. Think about that today as you talk to people who need Jesus!

It is when Jesus tells Nicodemus some of the greatest words in the Bible:

John 3: 16-17; “For this is how God loved the world: He GAVE His one and only Son, to that EVERYONE who believes in Him will not perish but have ETERNAL LIFE. God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to SAVE THE WORLD THROUGH HIM!”

What a great promise in these two verses. God Loves Me! God gave me His Son, who died on the Cross for me! If I BELIEVE in Him as my personal Savior and Lord, I will receive ETERNAL LIFE! God wants to SAVE THE WORLD!

But we have free will, and the choice is up to each of us, of what we are going to do with Jesus. Is this the biggest choice that we need to make in our lives? Because my choices will determine my consequences not only for this life but for all eternity!

What will be your choice?
