Good Friday is when we focus on what Jesus’s death on the Cross means to us. I am thankful that God gave His life for me and for all of my sins! What amazing love, grace, and forgiveness Jesus gave me when He died on the Cross for me!

What will be our response to Jesus dying on the Cross for my sins? What shows our love for Him for saving us, changing us, and making a way for us to go to heaven when we die?

The simple answer is – Obedience to Him and the Word of God!

1 John 2: 3-6 states, “And we can be sure that we know Him IF we obey His commandments. If someone claims, “I know God, but I don’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. But those who obey God’s Word truly show how completely they love Him. That is how we know we are living in Him. Those who SAY they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.”

Jesus paid the price when He died on the Cross for all of my sins! I am thankful for that act of love. My response should be to love Him by following and obeying Him in all areas of my life! That is my worship to Him for all He has done for me!

Thank You, Jesus, for loving me!
