“But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the livestock that were with him in the Ark. And God made a wind blow over the earth, and waters subsided.” Genesis 8:1
The rain starts, and it rains for 40 days and nights. Then the rain stops. The only ones saved were the ones in the Ark. The only ones who will make it through God’s judgment are those who accept God’s gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus. (John 3:16)
After it stopped raining, they were in the Ark for 150 days. Think about that—they were in the Ark with all those animals because of the floods.
How many of us would be going stir-crazy? Discouraged and dismayed over the condition. (Remember how it was when everything shut down in Covid?). How did we respond?
Genesis 8:1 encourages us: “But God remembered Noah…” Today, whatever you are going through, God remembers you. You may be in a season of pain, health, marriage, or family issues, but God remembers you.
I am thankful that the Lord remembers us today!
