I am thankful that we have a Rock when we go through difficult times, and His name is Jesus! Life sometimes does not make sense, which is why I am thankful for a relationship with Jesus Christ! When we are overwhelmed by life, we have a Rock named Jesus!
We are going through a difficult season as a church family, but I am thankful for Jesus! Isaiah 26: 3-4, gives us this great reminder:
“YOU will keep in perfect peace all who TRUST in You, all whose THOUGHTS (mind) is fixed on You! TRUST in the Lord always, for the Lord God is our eternal Rock!”
When we know Jesus as our Rock, even though we do not understand many things in life, we can TRUST IN HIM and receive His perfect peace that surpasses our human understanding.
When we TRUST, we can fix our thoughts and minds on Jesus! We can only control what is going on inside of us. Lord, help me to trust and think about You amid the storms of life!
I may feel that I am sinking in this challenging season, but help me realize that YOU ARE MY ROCK, and You are the one who holds me up in this season of life!
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.” Proverbs 3:5-6
Lord, I am thankful that You are my rock today!
