If you are involved in ministry in any area, you will likely notice that it can be challenging, frustrating, lonely, and even met with criticism for trying to serve the Lord and others. There are also many blessings and wonderful people you meet in serving Jesus.
In the book of Ezekiel, we see in chapter 2, his call to be a prophet. Ezekiel was sent to the Israelites, who were rebellious and disobedient to God. The Lord tells him in verses 4-7.
“The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn. Say to them, “This is what the Sovereign Lord says.” And whether they listen or fail to listen – for they are a rebellious people- they will know that a Lord of the harvest prophet has been among them.”
“You must speak my words to them, though they are a rebellious people.”
Ministry in our culture today is about being faithful to God’s Word and declaring His Word. We are responsible to be faithful to God.
We are not responsible for how people respond. We cannot control people, but we just keep sowing seed and leave the results to the Lord of the harvest!
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap a harvest IF WE DO NOT GIVE UP!” Galatians 6:9
I encourage you to keep serving Jesus!
