I make the choice to trust in Jesus

Some people have the image of God that He is against them, angry at them, and out to get them. But that is not the God of the Bible. God is for you! God loves you! God wants to bless you because that is who He is!

Paul wrote in Ephesians 2: 4-5 (read these words about our Heavenly Father). “But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, He gave us life when He raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved.”

Every single person is a sinner! No one can live up to God’s standard of holiness. We all fall short of the glory of God! We can do good things, but we are not good! We can do religious things, but we are not spiritual! We can act one way in public, but we know the real condition of our hearts! Romans 6:23 tells us: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” We deserve judgment from God!

Today, we have a choice: We can keep taking that journey that leads us from God, leads to sin, leads to death, leads to judgment, or we can make another choice! Our decisions will determine our direction, and our direction will lead to our destination.

Paul wrote in Ephesians 2: 4-5

  • God is so rich in mercy, which means – God desires to forgive us of our sins and withhold the punishment we deserve! Wow!
  • God is full of love towards you and me today!
  • We are spiritually dead because of sin, but God gives us eternal life! Jesus said: “I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly!”
  • God gives us grace every day of our lives when we take this journey of following Jesus!

Today, we can choose to trust in God’s amazing grace or reject Him and the grace He desires to give each of us!
