We must remind ourselves that we are not fighting for victory but standing in the victory that comes from Jesus! Too often, we focus on the battle, the enemy, the problem, and the obstacles in life when we must focus on the size of our God!
David understood the battles of life. Psalm 18 5-36 says, “You have given me Your shield of victory. Your right hand supports me; Your help has made me great. You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping.”
Remember whose army you are in today and that our God goes before us into battle. “The battle is not mine but belongs to the Lord.”
I stand in victory today because of the victory of Jesus Christ!
