If we sow to the Spirit, we will reap from the Spirit!

Our choices will always have consequences! Our sins will always have consequences!

David finally admits and confesses his sin, but there are still consequences.

2 Samuel 12: 13-14; “David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.” And Nathan said to David, “The Lord also has put away your sin; you shall not die.” Nevertheless, because by this deed you have utterly scorned the Lord, the child who is born to you shall die.” Then Nathan went to his house.”

It is not our picture of God. We want a loving and gracious God who not only forgives us of our sins but also forgets them. But God is also a holy God.

Sin separates us from God! The law of God is the law of sowing and reaping. If we sow to the flesh, we will reap from the flesh. If we sow to the Spirit, we will reap from the Spirit!

That is why we must choose the kind of seed we sow daily. Our choices will have consequences.
