How many have ever felt weak and drained by life. We all will face times when we are weak physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually in life. Just coming back from a missions trip, I am weak right now.
When we are weak, we are a target for the devil to attack us with temptations, trials, and negative thoughts. And we need to be honest with ourselves that we are weak, tired and prepared for the tactics of the enemy.
That is why we need the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. Romans 8: 26-27; “And the Holy Spirit HELPS us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groaning that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believer in HARMONY with God’s own will.”
The Holy Spirit HELPS us in our weakness, struggles and temptations in life. Why do I need the Holy Spirit continually because that is the way God HELPS US! How many of us never admit that we need help in life? We want to be in control, and want people to think that we are strong and not weak. But God gave every follower of Jesus the gift of the Holy Spirit to HELP us in life. Why would we not want to ask the Holy Spirit for the HELP that we need today?
The Holy Spirit HELPS us because He is always praying for us to be in HARMONY with God’s Will. Being in God’s will is always the best place to be as a follower of Jesus. Do we pray for our will or God’s Will to be in accomplished in our life. Jesus prayed for Help and Harmony to God’s will in His life. Remember in the Garden as Jesus was praying about dying on the Cross. He prayed to His father: He did not want to die on the Cross, but what did Jesus pray: “Father, I do not want to do die on the Cross, but not my will but that Your will be done in my life.”
Jesus prayed for HELP and to be in HARMONY with God’s Will for His life. We need the Holy Spirit to HELP US, and to HELP US PRAY IN HARMONY to God’s Will for our lives.
Today, if you are weak, pray for the HELP and HARMONY to be in God’s will for your life today!
