Every journey will eventually come to an end. The day you must travel back home because the trip is over. One day, our journey here on Earth will come to an end. No one knows when that day will come, but it will end. That is why we need to make sure that we are a follower of Jesus!
We need to know that there are two destinations when we complete our journey here on Earth. Heaven or hell! But God has provided a way to go home to be with Him for all eternity. But the choice is ours!
Paul writes to the Corinthian Church and us today about the resurrection. The religious people were discussing the resurrection and whether it was real. Did Jesus really come back to life? Is there life after death?
1 Corinthians 15: 15-19: “…for we have said that God raised Christ from the grave. But that can’t be true if there is no resurrection of the dead. And if there is no resurrection of the dead, Christ has not been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, then YOUR FAITH is useless, and you are still guilty of your sins. In that case, all who have died believing in Christ are lost! And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world.”
I am so thankful that Jesus has provided a journey that does not end with this world but will be for all eternity! As a follower of Jesus, I follow Jesus and know that “Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives, all fear is gone. Because I know He holds the future. And life is worth a living just because He lives.”
Today, you can choose to be a follower of Jesus! Ask Jesus to come into your life, forgive your sins, and follow Jesus!
