How many people are looking for God’s call on their lives! Jesus does not call some and forget about others. He has a calling on every single person. But what is that calling?

In Mark 1: 16-18, we see that Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, and He SAW Simon and Andrew throwing their net in the water, for they fished for a living.” These two brothers were fishermen, and this was their career.

In verse 17 – “Jesus called out to them, ‘Come, follow Me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” Can you imagine you are at work and this man Jesus is walking by and says, “Come, leave your business, safety net, and come follow me? What would be our response? How many of us would have to pray about, talk about it, and plan for this change in life?

Verse 18 – “And they left their nets at once, and followed Him.” They left everything at the moment that Jesus called to them! Think about that. They left everything to follow Jesus?

How many of us want a Jesus who blesses us, takes care of us, and meets all of our needs? But do we want to leave anything to follow Jesus?

Jesus is calling every single person to the same call: “Come follow me!” Are we really following Jesus?
