We can get so caught up in things from the past and everything that is happening in the present. But we need to look ahead to the future. As believers, we have hope because we know the outcome of the story. JESUS COMES AGAIN AND WE WIN!
Daniel was given a prophecy about the end of the story. Daniel 12: 1-3 tells us: “…and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.”

We can see that this prophecy given to Daniel is coming closer to fulfillment in our day.
- There is trouble everywhere we look today. We observe the developments in the Middle East and recognize that the world is in spiritual turmoil.
- There is deliverance for the people who are followers of Jesus! Jesus is coming again, and if we die, we will be with the Lord for all eternity. So no matter what happens to us, we win!
- There must be a sense of urgency in the church today! People are headed for destruction, judgment, and eternal punishment if they do not have Christ. We must point people to Jesus, so that their names are written in the Book of Life!
What a hope the child of God has because we can sing: “Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives all fear is gone. Because I know He holds the future. And life is worth living just because He lives!
Jesus wins, and we win!
