The Resurrection of Jesus is a miracle that impacts our lives in every area. We need resurrection to become children of God. You may need a resurrection spiritually, in your marriage and family, in your emotions, or in many different areas of your life. But God is in the resurrection ministry.
The greatest resurrection is when Jesus is resurrected in our lives! God’s Word tells us: “The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead now dwells within us.” This is a life-changer when we understand that we are now God’s Children!
1 John 1:12 tells us: “I am writing to you who ARE GOD’S CHILDREN BECAUSE YOUR SINS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN THROUGH JESUS.” God has created everyone, but not everyone is a child of God. Becoming a child of God is when we accept Christ into our lives and know that our sins are forgiven because of what Jesus accomplished on the Cross.
When our sins are forgiven, a resurrection takes place in our lives. We were spiritually dead, but now we have become spiritually alive because the Holy Spirit lives inside of us!
Tomorrow, we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus, but if we are a child of God, we can celebrate the resurrection that Jesus has given to us!
We can celebrate Jesus’s resurrection because it has completely changed our lives! He wants us to tell others about what Jesus has done in our lives! Let’s be a part of the resurrection story!
