What is your purpose in life? What are you trying to accomplish on this journey called life? We need to know that God has a purpose for our lives. When we know His purpose for our lives, it gives us direction for the journey.

In John 15: 7-8, we read – “But if you remain in Me and My words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! When you produce much fruit, you are My disciples. This brings great glory to My Father.”

What is God’s purpose for our lives?

• Grow in our relationship with the Lord. Stay close to Jesus and continue to grow to be more like Jesus.
• Grow in the Bible. “My words remain and stay in you!” I need to get into the Word of God and allow God’s Word to get into me!
•Grow in prayer, which helps our relationship to grow with the Lord. Are we spending time listening to the Lord? Are we spending time talking with the Lord? Jesus invites us to come to Him.
• Grow fruit, results, and evidence that we are growing in the Lord. What good is a fruit tree if there is no fruit? What good is a follower of Jesus if there is no spiritual fruit or results in our lives?

Lord, help me; fill me with Your Presence so I can live out Your Purpose for my life today!
