Lord, give me the heart of Mary to be willing to give it all to You! You deserve my all and not my left overs!

What are we willing to sacrifice to follow Jesus? Are we a consumer Christian or a contributing Christian? Are we looking to receive or to give?

In John 12:3, we see that Jesus is eating at the house of Lazarus, Martha, and Mary. Mary comes and opens a twelve-ounce jar of expensive perfume and anoints Jesus’ feet with it, wiping them with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance.”

Mary was a contributing follower of Jesus. She poured it all out on Jesus. She did not hold back, but was a worshiper of Jesus. She gave the most expensive thing she had to express her love for Jesus.

Then she wipes His feet with her hair, which shows the love she had for Jesus.

What are we willing to express our love for Jesus?

Lord, give me the heart of Mary to be willing to give it all to You!

Because You deserve my all and not my left overs!
