Someone said about the church today: “The success of a church is not the size of the church but the sending power of the church.” We think successful churches have lots of people sitting, but God wants us to send people out to “Reach the City and Touch the world for Jesus.”
In Mark 6:6-13, Jesus is going town to town, preaching the gospel and delivering healing and saving people. What does Jesus do? He called the disciples to Him and started to SEND THEM OUT, to do what Jesus was doing.
Jesus teaches us that we are not just to be workers; we must equip people to be SENT OUT, lead people to Jesus, pray for people, anoint people, and pray for miracles and healings!
Lord, help ICC to be a sending church and not a spectator church! Help us to GO into all the world!
