This spiritual journey is not for the weak, fragile, or faint of heart! No one knows what the next day will look like. That is why we need something that will strengthen us for the Spiritual journey.
Isaiah 55: 10-11; “The rain and the snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with My Word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.”
The power of the Word of God can produce what God desires for it to produce, and it will prosper and feed, strengthen, and sustain us in the journey of following Jesus.
That means I need to get into the Word and the Word needs to get into me. I need to read the Word, meditate on the Word, and apply the Word of God in my daily life. If I am not willing to practice the Word in my life, then it will not produce anything in my life, and I will not be able to prosper in my life!
It is not enough to read the Word, but I must apply the Word consistently in my life. I must be able to make the Word a spiritual discipline in my life, in my speech, and my actions.
God’s Word tells us: “Faith without works is dead, useless, powerless.” Today, read the Word, study the Word, but let the Word produce what God desires it to, and then we will see the blessing and prosperity of God in our lives!
Psalm 1: 2-3 tells us: “But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all that they do.”
