Lord, help me be aware of every tactic the enemy throws at me today

In Genesis 3: 2-3, we see the debate between Eve and satan over what the enemy said: “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?” But that is not what God said. The enemy twists the Word of God!

“Of course, we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. We are not allowed to eat fruit from the tree in the middle of the Garden. God said, “You must not eat or even touch it; if you do, you will die.”

We see that Eve heard what the enemy said to her. She realized that it was not correct. Of course, we can eat from the trees of the Garden, but God said that we cannot touch or eat the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”

So far, so good! But instead of debating with the enemy, we need to rebuke the enemy, resist the enemy, and even flee from the enemy. We try to debate and discuss, which is how the enemy tempts us to doubt what God says.

Today, when the enemy comes at us with temptation, we need to resist the enemy, reject the enemy, and run from the enemy. Do not allow the enemy to tempt you by doubting what God’s Word says!

Lord, help me be aware of every tactic the enemy throws at me today!
