In Matthew 25:31 46 we see that Jesus is going to evaluate every single one of us as to what we did to build His Kingdom. What are we doing to populate heaven? What are we doing for heaven’s sake?
In verse 32: “All the nations will be gathered in His presence, and He will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.” Every single one of us will give an account to God for what we do as a follower of Jesus.
Verse 34-36 – “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.“
And the righteous ones asked the Lord? “When did we see you and fed you, clothe you, took care of you, visited you?”
In verse 40 – “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, YOU WERE DOING IT TO ME.”
Then the ones that were on His left were thrown into the eternal fire. (verse 41)
God is calling every single one of us to be Kingdom Builders! How do we become a Kingdom Builder? One person at a time, one need at a time, being Jesus to people that God brings into our path. Being a Kingdom Builder is about going and giving to meet the practical needs of people!
Lord, help me build Your Kingdom, not my Own! Help me to do my part in “Reaching the City and Touching the World for Jesus!”
