Adversity is a part of life! We will face adversity in many areas of our lives! We have no control over the adversity, but we do have control over our choices!

“If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.” Proverbs 24:10

If we do not build our strength, we will lose it. In the gym, there is cardio, and then there is strength training. This is lifting weights to build up your muscles through the adversity of lifting weights. There is a saying, “Use it or lose it.”

One of the benefits of adversity is that you have to use your spiritual muscles. The more you use them, the stronger you will become in life!

If we faint, give up, or quit in times of adversity, it reveals a lack of spiritual strength.

Lord, help me get to the spiritual gym and build my muscles to gain spiritual strength!
