Lord, help me know You will never leave me nor forsake me

Do we really know all that God has given to us to take this journey of following Jesus? Sometimes, we may feel overwhelmed, weak, empty, tired, and even hopeless! BUT GOD!

Paul wrote to the Corinthian Christians to let them know their real identity. In 1 Corinthians 3: 16-17, we read, “Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.”

When we realize that the Holy Spirit lives in us, it will change how we view ourselves and our circumstances. The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, lives in us. Not just on Sundays but every moment of every day!

The Holy Spirit comes into us when we accept Jesus! His role is to empower us for everyday life, encourage us, guide us, give us His wisdom to make godly decisions and use us in reaching other people.

We need to realize who lives in us today. Lord, help me know that You will never leave or forsake me!

Thank you for the presence of the Spirit in my life!
