There is great power in forgiveness! How many are thankful that God forgives us of our sins when we confess our sins to Jesus and invite Him into our lives as our Savior and Lord?
But we are told to have the same spirit of forgiveness toward others who have sinned against us. Remember the Lord’s Prayer: “Forgive us as we forgive those who trespass against us.”
Job shows us the power and blessing of forgiveness in our own lives. Job 42:10, “And the Lord RESTORED the fortunes of Job WHEN he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.”
Forgiveness is a key to God’s blessings in my life. Lord, help me live with a heart of forgiveness to experience Your blessings!
