In Acts 27, we see the storm, and the Lord tells Paul they will all be safe. And we see in Acts 28 that they all make it to shore.
When we follow Jesus, He is faithful to His Word and will always do what He says He will do!
In verses 1-10, we see that the people of the island where they landed came and built a fire to warm the people. Paul is gathering wood for the fire, and a snake comes out and bites him on the hand.
The people on the island saw what happened and said that God was against Paul, but Paul shook off the snake and had no harm from the bite. The enemy is trying to do the same thing to us in our lives. But we need to shake off anything the enemy tries to destroy us with.
The people then began to say; this is a man of God. When we defeat the enemy’s attacks, God will get the glory from the victory!
Lord, help me shake off everything the enemy tries to attack me with today! Because “greater is He that is in me, then He that is in the world!”
