The foundation of a building is the most important part. The foundation is unseen, but it must be built to support the entire building. Without a foundation the building will shift, will crumble, will move, and eventually will come crashing down.
The foundation of Christianity is not a denomination, a church, or a religion, but the foundation every follower of Jesus must have: Jesus Christ. Nothing else, nothing more, just Jesus!
Paul wrote to the Corinthian church and said in 1 Corinthians 3:11, “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have – JESUS CHRIST!”
What are you building your life on today? The only foundation that will hold us up in the storms of life is JESUS CHRIST! Without the right foundation, we will never survive in this life! But Jesus is the foundation that will hold you steady and strong in life!
What are you building your life on? Lord, help me always to remember that You are the foundation of my life!
