What goes on in our mind? How many of us struggle with our minds, thoughts, the way we see things in life? How we see God? How we see ourselves? How we see other people?
Every day we have a battle going on in our minds. We need to fill our minds with the things of God! Do we have a godly mind or a worldly mind?
1 Corinthians 2:16; “For, “Who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach Him? But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.”
We need to daily seek to have the mind of Christ! How do we win the battle for our minds? We need to take control of our thoughts and minds! We need the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to win this battle.
Listen to God’s Word:
Isaiah 26:3 – “You keep in perfect peace whose MIND is stayed on you, because he trusts in You.”
Romans 12:2 – “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Colossians 3:2 – “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on the earth.”
Today, I need to realize that I have the mind of Christ! Help me to allow the Holy Spirit to start to renew and transform my mind! Help me to think about the Lord, the Word, and to begin to see life from His perspective!
Lord, help me to be renewed in my mind today!
