Lord, help me to know You so well that I know when to pray and move in my life

There is a time to pray and a time to act! There is a time when we cry out to God, but then there is a time to obey!

In Exodus 14:15-18, “Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving! Pick up your staff and raise your hand over the sea. Divide the water so the Israelites can walk through the middle of the sea on dry ground. And I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they will charge in after the Israelites. My great glory will be displayed through Pharaoh and his troops, his chariots, and his charioteers. When my glory if displayed through them, all Egypt will see my glory and know that I am the Lord.”

How many times do we pray for God to take the situation away from us? Lord, change the other person. Lord, give me a financial miracle. Lord, make my life easier. But maybe the Lord is saying, like to Moses, “Stop crying out to me, and start moving, start growing, start obeying!”

God wants us to be a part of the miracle! He wants to use us to show His glory, His Presence, and His Power to our family and friends, but we must pray and move!

Today, help me to pray and to move! Lord, help me to know You so well that I know when to pray and move in my life!
