When we come in contact with people, do they know that we are followers of Jesus? Can they sense there is something different about our lives? This is what we see with the early followers of Jesus.
Acts 4:13; “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.”
Can people recognize that we have been with Jesus? Can people see Jesus in the way that we live our lives? Can they hear the words of Jesus in the words that come out of our mouths?
Can they see the fruit of the Spirit flowing out of our lives?
Can they see the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives?
We cannot live like Jesus if we do not spend time with Jesus consistently. Jesus says in John 15:5, “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”
Lord, help me to live in such a way that people will see that I have been with You!”
