Lord, help me to live in the overflow of Your presence!

As followers of Jesus, we must learn to be with Jesus before we do things for Jesus. When we walk with the Lord, it changes our direction and destiny in life.

In Isaiah 58, we see that the religious people were saying all the right things, but they were living them out in their daily lives. If we want to know the presence, blessing, and anointing of God in our lives, it comes when we do what Jesus does.

If we are going to be like Jesus, he says, then you will minister to people where they are at, love people, help people, feed people, bless people that are in real need, take care of the practical needs of people, and minister to your family. When we live like Jesus, it comes from a heart that has been connected with Jesus.

Then what will the Lord do? Isaiah 58: 8-9; “Then your salvation will come like the dawn, and your wounds will quickly heal. Your godliness will lead you forward, and the glory of the Lord will protect you from behind. Then when you call, the Lord will answer. ‘Yes I am here,’ he will quickly reply.”

When we are with Jesus and do what Jesus does, then we will see the blessing, favor, and anointing of His presence in our lives!

Lord, help me to live in the overflow of Your presence!
