In Matthew 24, the disciples came to Jesus and asked about the end times and when they would happen. Today, many people are still asking about the end times and when Jesus will return. No one knows the time of the Lord’s coming, but we need to be ready today and bring as many people with us when that day comes. Be ready and help others be ready for the coming of Jesus!
Jesus tells them in verses 4-8 what will happen in the last days: Do not let anyone mislead you from following Jesus! There will be wars and rumors about wars, but do not PANIC, because these things are just the beginning. Nations will go to war against other nations.. Kingdoms will fight other kingdoms. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the earth. But this is only the first part of what will happen before I come back!
All of these things happening in our world are to PREPARE US for the coming of Jesus! Not to make us PANIC but to PREPARE US for the coming of Jesus. We need to be spiritually ready for the coming of Jesus and lead others to Jesus in the last days!
The only thing that we can bring to heaven is ourselves and those that we lead to Jesus! Lord, help me to PREPARE and not PANIC, because I know that My Redeemer lives!
