What comes to mind when you hear the word patience? How many of us struggle with having patience? Patience with people? Self? Problems? Patience with God?
If we are honest, we all struggle with patience! How many of us pray for more patience? Do we realize what we are asking for? We are asking for more trials, tests, and tribulations!
Romans 8:24-25 tells us; “For in this hope we were saved. Now, hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with PATIENCE!”
Faith and patience go together. When we have faith in God, we can wait with patience because we believe that God has always been and always will be faithful to His Word!
We need to know that our God is always faithful and trustworthy to His Word!
Today, help me to remember that: “And I am SURE of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ!”
Lord, help me to stop stressing and start resting in You!
