God gives every follower gifts of grace. Grace is unmerited favor that we do not deserve, earn, or possess. They are given to us to use for His glory.
The purpose of these gifts of grace is to use them for the benefit of others.
Romans 12:6-7; “Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy; in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.”
God has made us all different with different passions, gifting, and ministries. So that we realize we are all different, but we are to be one body. That is the beauty of the church: we are all different, but we are all needed and useful to the building and functioning of His church!
Am I using the gifts of grace for His glory and for the building of His church?
Lord, help me to do my part!
