Jesus is Pro-life! Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly! But Jesus is Pro-life when it comes to every single person because He is the one that gave us life! God knew us before we were even born!
If Jesus is Pro-life, then we need to be focused on life now and for all eternity! We need to see the value that God has placed upon our lives! Lord, help me value my life and how You value me!
Psalm 139:13-16 shows us the value that God places on life!
“You made all the delicate, inner parts of MY body, and knit ME together in MY mother’s womb. Thank You for making ME so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous – how well I know it. You watched ME as I was being formed in seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw ME before I was born. Every day of MY LIFE was recorded in Your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.”
We may live in a culture that devalues life. We may have been raised in a family that devalued my life and told me that I had no value. People may devalue me. And sadly, even maybe we devalue our own lives today.
I want to encourage you that God values you! Jesus values you enough to die on the Cross and give you eternal life! Lord, help me to value my life because of You!
“For God so loved Me that He gave His One and Only Son for Me!”
