In Acts 28, Paul was a missionary at heart and would share Jesus with everyone he met. He shared Jesus with religious people and with Gentiles. Paul understood that Jesus is willing to save anyone who accepts Jesus as Savior and Lord!
But Paul also realized that not everyone would accept Christ. It is an individual decision we must all make.
Paul reminds us of what Isaiah said in Acts 28:26-27; “Go to this people, and say, “You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.” For this people’s heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed; lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.”
Our ministry is to connect with people and share who Jesus is, and tell them what Jesus did in our lives. We must pray, connect, show, and tell them what Jesus can do for them in their life.
But the choice is always up to the person. Lord, help us to go and leave the rest up to the Holy Spirit!
