In Acts 17-21, we see Paul’s missionary ministry of going to different cities and starting churches. The church was and still is God’s plan to fulfill His purposes on earth!
We see that Paul was arrested again, and we read about his trial before Felix, Festus, and then King Agrippa.
Paul stands before King Agrippa and shares his story, his experience with Jesus. Paul was on trial, and he was sharing the Gospel of Jesus.
He was not fearful as he tried to hide his relationship with Jesus.
He was speaking about an Amazing God that does amazing things in and through Amazing people.
King Agrippa said to Paul, “Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?” Acts 26:28. We are not responsible for the choices that people make about Jesus. We are just responsible for telling the plan of salvation.
How does Paul respond? “Short time or long – I pray to God that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, (a follower of Jesus)! Acts 26:29
Lord, help us to realize that our Amazing God wants to do amazing things in and through us today.”
