Following Jesus means following Him and His Word. It is a full-time commitment, not a part-time commitment or something we do only when we are in church.
Do we love Jesus? If you love someone, you are committed to that person.
1 John 2:15 tells us, “Do not love the world or the things of the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
We can not love the kingdom of this world and the Kingdom of God. We cannot serve two masters because only one can be first in our love, devotion, and commitment!
We choose who we will serve! “Choose this day who you will serve, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!”
Lord, I choose to “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness!”
